Let's Work Together

I would love to contribute to your journey
Abusive relationships create a range of difficult emotions, thoughts and inner struggles. These lead to inner conflict and distress. I support you in gaining clarity of your experiences, making sense of complicated thoughts and accepting your emotional responses to abuse. This leads the way to growth.
I offer integrative coaching and counselling sessions, which provide a safe space for you to be open and vocalise your experience of abuse. I understand abusive dynamics and I am here to listen. It is an opportunity for you to work through the confusion, self-doubt and shame, towards self-compassion and peace.
We will spend our time together to gain clarity on your experiences. We can reflect on barriers to growth, and tools to support you in overcoming them. We can address some of the issues heavy on your heart, and if all you want to do is talk while I listen, we'll do just that. These sessions are yours. Use them to take a deep breath, exhale and to empower yourself.
My role is to help you see that you already have it all within you. To support you with compassion and acceptance to provide the experience that you are worthy of just that - self-compassion and self-acceptance. You have the power within you to honour your needs and learn the tools to thrive after abuse. That thriving isn't about being 'better' in your healing. It is embracing who you are now, whilst knowing you deserve to heal and making the choice to dedicate yourself... to you.
Contact me to arrange a free 20 minute discovery call to see if we are a good fit.
All sessions are currently via Zoom.

FAQ'S
How do I know if integrative coaching is right for me?
Integrative coaching and counselling is a good fit for you if you already have some awareness about yourself and your healing, and the areas you would like support in. We will run through some info together before any commitments are made to identify whether we are a good fit. There is a complimentary 30 minute introductory session to ask any questions and see if you would like to go ahead with the sessions. If you feel your are deeply distressed, in crisis or need support with your mental health, coaching is not a good fit for you. Seeking out a trauma-informed therapist or health professional is recommended.
How Does it work?
All you need to do is show up to sessions and be willing to do "the work". Usually, the work is being open to self-reflection, to allow for unlearning the unhealthy narratives of an abusive relationship, and to make space for focusing on yourself and your growth. Self-awareness opens the way for lasting change and coaching can provide you with that extra support to access the power you already hold within you.
I've learned a lot about abuse. Why would this be any different?
We are focusing on building a healthy relationship with yourself, which means focusing on empowering you through gaining understanding on what impacts you negatively and what supports your growth so that you can bring more of it into your life.
how long does it last?
I offer sessions of 6 or 12 blocks, as well as on-going sessions. A block of 6 sessions can be really useful if there is one specific focus to the sessions. When client's want to dive a little deeper, I recommend working together for 3-6 months. Although we can work together as long as you choose, and our sessions can be reduced over time, from weekly, to fortnightly, to monthly.
I can't afford coaching right now...?
A low cost option is to join The Personal Growth Community, where you can connect with other survivors in a private and supportive space. I am also present in the community, and we cover monthly topics to support healing and growth. This is a space for community healing, which provides connection and support. My book, Was It Even Abuse?, is also available to buy, which provides a solid foundation of clarity to support you after experiencing abuse.
